P is for Pro-Ho

We all know one. Ladies, don't be one.

2.Pro Ho27 up, 5 down
A girl that only dates guys who are sponsored by a snowboard/skateboard or "insert-other-sport here" company, just so they can name drop to other girls and get all the gear they can.
Lisa is such a pro ho. She doesn't even know what Stepchild Snowboards is, but her tits look great in their t-shirt.

RIP...

Late last night we lost a fellow shredder from East TN, Jean Luke Lane. I had known Jean Luke since I was a sophomore or junior in high school, played football with him, and he was a dear friend and someone who enjoyed snowboarding like so many of us do. He was just someone that everyone could get along with, I honestly don't know a single person who didn't like the kid. He will be missed by everyone who knew you. Love ya big homie

RIP Jean Luke Lane

So you need to get ready for the season...

With as cold as it was today, I know that every person who owns a pair of skis or a snowboard have been dreaming about setting foot on snow in a month and a half. Well take the advice of myself and get yo-self prepared to take on those gnarly double black diamond EX's.

First off: You are most likely out of shape from eating CookOut and watching countless winter edits. So start stretching and stay active so your muscles are not dead for the following week after the first day of shreddage.

Secondly: Now go take a few stops by your favorite local ski and snowboard shop, The Board Room Knoxville, Alpine, or Plutos. (Now I may support The Board Room a lot, but what it all comes down to is get yourself to a local shop and get the best advice possible along with supporting the local scene. The "Shops" online are nothing compared to these guys.) This will give you a solid opportunity to collect all the outerwear that will make you stick out on the mountain so you can get some recognition.

On to the next one: GO GET THAT EQUIPMENT TUNED UP! It is always smart to drop your gear off at the shop so they can make sure you are as safe as possible on the mountain. even your Most Advanced riders should do this.

Almost done: Pack up that car, put on the most Gnarly tunes you have and drive to Lynchburg, Virginia and try your hand at Snowflex. As good to snow as you can get, Snowflex is a year round resort that is only a few hours away. I was just up there this past weekend dialing in some new tricks and old tricks So I can hit this season off on the best note....Backyard Jam sessions will equally do the trick.

LASTLY: Keep dreaming about snow and be safe out there, respect the mountain, the park, your fellow riders, and stay pointed down hill

Jaw Dropping

If you have not seen it check it out, all snowboarders and skiers will enjoy this..such sick editing, an amazing soundtrack, great editing, and for you snowboarders...the only ski-flick with a snowboard feel. Go get yours at The Board Room Knoxville on top of Bearden Hill and get yourself a free High-Five while you are there!!

2011-2012 Snow forecast

Check it out East TN riders. We are in the heavy snow area, which means we will have above average amounts of snow. Let's hope this forecast is true.

SNOW ALREADY?!?!

Yes you heard it right, Beech Mtn in North Carolina received a small amount of snow during the night. First snow and its only October 1st, looks like a sign of a strong winter coming our way
